GOLF BOOK- For the golf-obsessed dad, grab them this book to help them through the golf-free cold months.
BLACKSTONE GRILL- The best part of this gift is that it is really a gift for you, too. Grab the buzzy Blackstone grill for hubby and you'll not only get big points for a splashy gift, you'll also probably get dinner made, too!
FAIR HARBOR BATHING SUIT- This is our go to gift for dad. These bathing suits are super high quality, comfy, and free from the netting that is apparently super uncomfortable.
Treat grandma to some little splurges!
CUSTOM SWEATSHIRT- Designed & printed by Bergen County mom and FIT4MOM member Carissa, this custom sweatshirt says Grandma (or whatever name you choose) on the neckline and grandkids names on the sleeve. A sentimental and practical gift for grandma!
KINDLE PAPERWHITE- My mom is a huge reader, and has become a total convert for her paperwhite after years of only reading paper copies. The convenience is just unmatched, and the display is clear and bright.
BAREFOOT DREAMS THROW- These blankets have gone viral for a reason. They are simply unmatched in terms of softness and comfort- and they hold up year after year. Treat mom to something a little nicer than the typical throw she may pick up. And as a bonus, you can snuggle up with it when you visit, too!
Grandpas are notoriously hard to shop for, but it always feels like a home run when your gift is a hit!
PREPARED HERO FIRE BLANKET- Is your dad also a little obsessed with safety? He'll be impressed with this fire prevention blanket. And you can sleep a little easier knowing your dad has it on hand just in case.
GARAGE STORAGE STRAPS- Dad obsessed with his garage? Always moving stuff around and straightening it up? Gift him these handy garage straps - just look how neat that pictured garage looks! Grandpa goals
LETTERS TO MY GRANDCHILD- Ok so this is kind of a gift for you and your little one(s), too. Encourage grandpa to write to your little ones, answering prompts about their life and family. These are sure to be cherished family heirlooms. And given the age of letter writing has come to an end, this is a great way to make sure you have some priceless memories down on paper. Even if your little one cannot read them or appreciate them now, imagine how precious these letters will be as they grow.
Shopping for a little one, under about 2? These useful and practical gifts will grow with your little one.
ELF WELCOME KIT- Welcome your elf on a shelf with an easy to use, cute and festive welcome kit. Make your life a bit easier with this all-in-one kit.
LCD WRITING TABLET- This was one of our favorite gifts for years. Long drives, stroller rides (hello, Stroller Strides), waiting rooms -- we brought these little guys everywhere. Kids can easily write and erase, creating endless designs - and no clean up for you. As they age, it is a great way to practicing writing letters and spelling words.
BALANCE BIKE- The best way to get your little one ready to ride a bike! Entertain them with some active play this winter and spring. You'll be amazed by how quickly they learn to ride a real bike when they are older!
Gifts for bigger kids -- preK and early elementary age -- can be a little trickier. Try these tried and true finds!
ZINGO- I know, this game seems fairly boring. But trust us. Kids love this game. And better yet, it truly helps them learn sight words. Total win, win.
SCIENCE KIT- If you know me, you know kids doing STEM just makes my heart happy. My girls have enjoyed their "science" for years and years. A few simple tools, plus some fun supplies (water, vinegar, baking soda, glitter, food coloring -- the sky's the limit) make for tons of screen-time free fun. Encourage their inner scientists to shine and keep this on hand for those long winter afternoons.
HAIR CHALK- A perfect small gift or stocking stuffer for any kid who loves dress up and color. The chalk is super easy to wash out, and shows up in vivid colors. Even boys like it!
