What I wish I knew before I took my kids to Disney

Trust me, you do not want to go to Disney World unprepared! Save this for your next Disney World trip with kids.

✨ Bring a Stroller - Even your big kids will want to take a seat after walking so much

✨ Decorate your stroller - The Disney crew members are allowed to move your strollers to add room for others. So when you get off a ride, your stroller may not be exactly where you left it. Decorate it to make it easier to find!

✨ Pack a Change of Clothes - Kids are messy, especially in Disney. A clean, dry set of clothes is something you’ll never regret having, but may regret skipping

✨ Buy the Lightning Lanes - If you’re able to, lightning lanes save so much time. Less waiting = happier kids

✨ Plan Your Day -

Have an idea for the day. Where you want to eat lunch, what snacks you want to try and your top rides for the park. If you want a sit down meal, reserve them well in advance

✨ Mobile Order When Possible - You can order your meals ahead of time for any quick service spot!

✨ Take a Break - Overstimulation is a real thing and can cause cranky kids! Don’t feel bad about leaving the park midday or taking a long lunch. When I first went to Disney with my kids who were one and three at the time, we went to the park from about 8:30 to 11:30, ate lunch, headed back to the hotel to rest and for some pool time, and then headed back into the park at about three. Don’t feel like you have to completely jampacked your day and have the kids in the park from morning til night

✨ Don’t forget to pack for weather. Fans, sunscreen, rain ponchos, and a rain cover for the stroller are all 👌Florida weather can be hot + unpredictable.

✨ Be Present - The most important tip! Once you are there, take a few pictures but don’t obsess. Make sure you cherish the magic and remember- your kids will never be this little again
