Valentine's Day Crafts for Babies + Toddlers
Fingerprint Heart Rocks: Easy as can be and appropriate for all ages. These fingerprint heart rocks are a simple keepsake you can keep for years to come. Simply purchase or gather some smooth rocks, paint your little one’s fingers in red or pink paint, and stamp them down to make a heart.

I Love You To Pieces Heart Craft: One of the simplest skills for babies and toddlers to work on is tearing. Though it may seem simple to us, the process of ripping paper into smaller pieces is a complex fine motor skills task. Also, kids love it! For littlest kids, use tissue paper which is easier to tear. As they grow, switch to construction paper and eventually, try using kid safe scissors. We love these ones for true beginners, since they are plastic, and these ones when they are a little bit older. Scissor skills are important for Pre-K 3, so start working on them with your toddlers if you can!

Valentine's Day Sensory Bin: Sensory bins were my bread and butter when my girls were babies and toddlers. My favorite bases are rice, oats, and plain pasta. Dye them pink, red and purple with food coloring or washable paint in gallon zip lock bags. Then fill a plastic bin with scoops, cups, funnels, spoons or anything you have lying around that kids can use to play. Throw in some hearts or other Valentine's themed items for more fun.
